Shack is an architectural design and construction practice with a productised portfolio: a set of proprietary house and outbuilding designs, sold and built across its own developments. The work is precise and design-led. The website had to match it, and it had to be ready quickly.

We had two weeks. Not two weeks to design in private and hand over a file, but two weeks to put a bespoke, design-led site live.

The work

What we shaped.

We built first. Rather than design every screen in advance, we stood the site up early on real structure and real content, then refined the design in place. The project kept moving, and every decision was made against the live site, not a mockup.

A bespoke front end, not a template. The portfolio of designs, the active developments, and the practice behind them, each given room to read clearly.

Speed without the usual trade-off. Senior people on the work directly, so two weeks bought a considered site, not a rushed one.

The site went live in two weeks. Bespoke rather than templated, and built to hold as the portfolio and the developments grow. Decisions were made by people who had done this before, working directly with the founders. No translation layer.

The approach is the point. Build first, refine in place, keep senior hands on throughout. It is how a small team ships something considered without a long timeline.
